Alistair Camp inherits race two victory

Alistair Camp has joined the list of winners in the TCR UK Championship after inheriting victory in the second race of the weekend at Donington Park.

Camp had finished the race in third place on the road behind Brad Hutchison and Chris Smiley, but was declared as the victor when the pair ahead were both excluded for failing the ride height test.

It marked the second time that Hutchison had been excluded from a session for that reason this weekend, having been stripped of his times in qualifying and forced to start race one from the back of the field.

Smiley’s exclusion came after he looked to have scored just his second podium finish of the season in what is proving to be a challenging title defence in the new FL5 Honda Civic.
