Rick Kerry confirms full TCR UK season with EDF Motorsports

Rick Kerry will step up from a partial 2023 TCR UK season to a full-season entry in 2024 with EDF Motorsports.

The 51-year-old drove a CUPRA TCR last year to 21st position overall with a tenth-place finish in the Brands Hatch season finale as his best result.

“Last season was a massive learning curve for me after more than twenty years of racing in rear-wheel drive machinery. Towards the end of last season, I managed to show a big improvement with a top-ten finish,” said Kerry.

“This season, I am being run by EDF Motorsport, who have a lot of experience of running TCR cars in UK Motorsport. I am looking forward to competing in the new Gen 1 Cup, where my aim to finish as the top Gen 1 Cup driver by the end of the season.”

The former BTCC driver will continue racing his CUPRA TCR in 2024, meaning that he will compete for the Gen 1 Cup honours.
