Walkinshaw Andretti United reveals 2024 liveries

Walkinshaw Andretti United has revealed the livery of the two cars that it will campaign in the 2024 Supercars Championship season.

The team will run Chaz Mostert and Ryan Wood during the season ahead, with Wood coming in for his rookie season in place of Nick Percat.

Mostert will continue to run in the #25 Ford Mustang with primary backing on his car coming from team sponsor Mobil 1 as well as from returning co-naming rights partner Optus.

“The Mobil 1 Optus Racing #25 Mustang looks awesome, we’ve thrown a bit more colour on it this year, but it’s nice and clean which I love,” he said.

“Getting to drive the Mobil 1 Optus Racing Ford Performance Mustang, and representing all the incredible partners we have in this team is something I don’t take for granted, it’s a family here, and that extends to the support we get from all of them, so I’m looking forward to a big 2024 together.

“We’ve had a great off-season, the guys and girls have worked around the clock to get us ready for what’s ahead, so I can’t wait to get stuck into the year, starting with the first test day and of course heading back to The Mountain.”

Wood meanwhile will carry backing from Truck Assist on the #2 Mustang as he steps up into the main game from Super2, where he finished third in the points last season.

“The Mobil 1 Truck Assist Racing Mustang looks awesome, the colours and livery are incredible, and it looks cool standing still, so I can’t wait for everyone to see it once we roll out on the track,” he said.

“To be able to represent the partners involved in our team and on this car is really special to be honest. To have the Mobil 1 logo on the bonnet, Truck Assist logo on the doors, and all the amazing partners that make this team what it is, it’s just such an amazing opportunity.

“A massive thank you to all of our partners, both new and existing, that have made this dream possible, your support for both myself and the team is really appreciated.

“Really looking forward to getting behind the wheel, let’s see what we can do, it’s all starting to feel real now, someone pinch me!”
