Power Maxed Racing reveals new title sponsor

Power Maxed Racing has revealed that it will run under the Evans Halshaw Power Maxed Racing banner for the 2024 BTCC season.

The announcement comes after two years competing with title sponsorship from sister brand CarStore, with the Evans Halshaw name now set to appear more prominently on PMR’s Vauxhall Astra cars.

Árón Taylor-Smith and Mikey Doble both return this year, with the third seat still to be filled after the departure of Andrew Watson to Speedworks.

“We’re delighted to be heading into the third year of the title sponsor partnership with Evans Halshaw at the helm, the whole team is excited about the new name we’ll be taking on for 2024,” team boss Adam Weaver said.

“It’s an honour to be able to represent Evans Halshaw – an industry-leading automotive brand – as we race in the BTCC. I’m extremely confident that Árón and Mikey will continue to perform fantastically this season, doing the whole Evans Halshaw Power Maxed Racing team proud.”
