Jake Hill inherits race two win after Tom Ingram penalty
Jake Hill has been declared the winner of race two at Thruxton in the British Touring Car Championship after Tom Ingram was hit with a penalty.
Ingram had triumphed on the road but was deemed to have gained an unfair advantage in an incident at the final chicane that involved Dan Cammish.
Hill’s victory – his second of the day and fourth of the year – means he now sits six points clear in the standings. Cammish was also promoted in the final result to tally second place, with Ingram now third.
