Santiago Urrutia leads Lynk & Co 1-2-3-4 in wet final Zhuzhou practice
Santiago Urrutia headed a Lynk & Co Cyan Racing 1-2-3-4 in a wet final free practice session of the FIA TCR World Tour weekend at Zhuzhou in China.
The Uruguayan driver headed Yann Ehrlacher by 0.141 seconds, with local hero Ma Qing Hua just 49 thousands of a second slower in third.
Thed Björk, who is placed third in the drivers’ championship, was fourth fastest, 0.259 seconds from Urrutia’s time.
Best non-Lynk & Co driver was Hyundai’s Néstor Girolami in fourth place, three tenths from the top time.
Esteban Guerrieri made it three different manufacturers in the top six for GOAT Racing Honda, seven tenths from Urrutia’s best time.
Points leader Norbert Michelisz was seventh fastest ahead of BRC team-mate Mikel Azcona and Honda driver Dusan Borkovic.
Teamwork Motorsport driver David Zhu (Lynk & Co) rounded off the top ten as the fastest TCR China driver, 1.7 seconds from the top time.
Next up is qualifying, starting at 10:00 local time/04:00 CEST on Saturday with a dry track forecasted.
