Norbert Michelisz rises to the top in final Paul Ricard practice
Norbert Michelisz took his Hyundai to the top during the final free practice session of the FIA TCR World Tour weekend at Paul Ricard in France.
The BRC Hyundai driver lapped the circuit in 1:31.187 to beat reigning champion Yann Ehrlacher by 0.125 seconds.
Mikel Azcona made it two Hyundais in the top three, 0.233 seconds from his team-mate.
Cupra drivers Aurélien Comte and Victor Weyrich, who topped the first session, claimed positions four and five, 0.345 and 0.426 seconds behind respectively.
Points leader Santiago Urrutia took his Cyan Racing-prepared Geely Preface TCR to sixth place ahead of team-mate Ma Qing Hua, six and eight tenths from the top time.
Julien Briche, Thed Björk and Teddy Clairet rounded off the top ten.
The session was interrupted by one red flag period as SP Compétition driver Gilles Chauvin hit a tyre stack at Turn 1 and came to a halt on track with suspension damage.
