New BMW team for the BTCC in 2008

Information from Macau suggests that two Schnitzer BMW 320si will be making their way to the British Touring Car Championship in 2008. A new BMW team, yet to be announced, will run the cars that are reported to be the ones of Augusto Farfus Jr. and Jörg Müller in the 2007 WTCC. When delivered to the BTCC team the cars will be upgraded to 2008 spec.

Various teams and drivers have commented on their hope to run BMW’s in the 2008 BTCC, but as yet, the team or its drivers have not been identified. Stay tuned for more information on the subject!
