Triple Eight reveals GT4 Jaguar for 2010

It is looking more and more certain that Triple Eight is not going to be in the British Touring Car Championship 2010. Earlier this year the team announced that they are going to run the Pro1000 Race Series next year which features the Caparo T1000. Today they have revealed a GT4 Jaguar XKR.

The car is homologated to the GT4 regulations and will be available for customer teams for the 2010 season.

Many rumors have circulated about Triple Eight taking on a new touring car project for the BTCC 2010. Volvo, Kia and more has been mentioned.

But with the different projects like the Pro1000 Race Series and the GT4 Jaguar, it seems more and more likely that they will not be in the BTCC 2010.

Team boss Ian Harrison commented the matter a while ago in Motorsport News.

“We won’t be in touring cars as things stand at the moment, and I don’t know if we will ever return,” said Harrison.
