Get your best pair of voting boots on: It’s time for the TouringCarTimes Awards 2012, kicking off with the British Touring Car Championship.

You can vote for a driver, team and car in six different categories to voice the opinion of the TouringCarTimes readers of the very best from the BTCC 2012.

A close season with plenty of action, winners and controversy promises for an interesting poll. There is no shortlist, you are free to vote on your own criteria.

The winners of all six of the categories will then be pitted against the corresponding winner in the categories of DTM, WTCC, STCC and TTA to see who is the best overall.

The six categories are:

– Best Driver
– Best Independent Driver
– Best Team
– Best Independent Team
– Best Rookie
– Best Car
