Touring car photographer Neil Tozer passes away

We have the very sad duty to say that one of our photographers, Neil Tozer, suddenly passed away last weekend.

Neil Tozer has been working for TouringCarTimes through our photographic partners PSP Images for the past four years, and was one of our most valued colleagues and friends.

Neil had worked for TouringCarTimes attending a variety of different championships across Europe, principally photographing the MSA British Touring Car Championship, but also extending himself beyond the UK, working at rounds of the FIA World Touring Car Championship, the DTM and the International Superstars Series.

With PSP Images, he’d also worked with a number of other motorsport disciplines including GT and rallying.

“It is with great sadness that I have to announce one of my close friends and colleague Neil Tozer died this weekend,” says Peter Still. “I have only known Neil Tozer for about four years and in that time we became good friends.

“As a photographer, Neil Tozer was a perfectionist. Always trying to get that special image, trying different angles for that perfect shot. He’ll be greatly missed by all of us.”

Neil was doing what he loved best, photographing motorsport, attending the Rallye Sunseeker, the season finale of the MSA British Rally Championship in Dorset, UK on Saturday, before becoming unwell and being taken to hospital, but sadly passed away.

I’m sure all that knew Neil will join me and the team at TouringCarTimes, and the guys at PSP Images, in passing their sympathies and condolences to Neil’s family and friends.
