16-year-old Giacomo Altoè will drive for Top Run in Abu Dhabi

The 16-year-old Giacomo Altoè will drive for Top Run Motorsport in the TCR Middle East Series races at Abu Dhabi this weekend.

“I’m happy and motivated to take part in the second event of the TCR Middle East Series at Abu Dhabi. This will be my first race of the year, but more than that my very debut in Touring Car competition!” said Altoè.

The Italian will drive the Subaru WRX TCR for the team, replacing Luigi Ferrara who failed to finish both races of the season opener in Dubai due to technical issues.

Altoè made his motorsport debut last year in the Italian Formula 4 championship, having raced gokarts previously.
