Francisco Abreu wins second Vila Real race

Francisco Abreu won the second and final TCR Iberia race of the weekend on the streets of Vila Real for Team Novadriver.

The Volkswagen driver won the race in style, over 15 seconds ahead of the closest rival in the form of race one winner Francisco Mora.

Audi RS 3 LMS driver Patrick Cunha claimed the final podium spot, close to 29 seconds from race-winner Abreu, closely followed by Speedy Motorsport driver Cesar Machado.

João Carvalho of SEAT team Veloso Motorsport rounded off the top five, just one second ahead of fellow SEAT driver Gustavo Moura in sixth position.

TCR Iberia resumes on the 17th of September in Barcelona.
