Mike Halder storms to Nürburgring pole position

Team Honda ADAC Sachsen driver Mike Halder was unstoppable in today’s TCR Germany qualifying session at the Nürburgring where he claimed pole position by close to six tenths of a second.

The Honda driver lapped the German circuit in 1:34.263 and was 0.585 seconds faster than PROsport Performance driver Max Hesse who will join him on the front row.

Lukas Niedertscheider made it three different makes in the top three by claiming third position in his Peugeot 308TCR, 0.244 seconds behind Audi driver Hesse.

Niels Langeveld claimed fourth position for Racing One, just 0.034 seconds from third position.

Michelle Halder rounded off the top five for Profi-Car Team Halder, driving a Cupra TCR, while Opel driver and championship leader Harald Proczyk, who was fastest in Q1, claimed position six.

Dominik Fugel was seventh fastest for Team Honda ADAC Sachsen, just 0.029 seconds from Proczyk, while Oliver Holdener rounded off the top eight for Wolf-Power Racing.
