Mike Halder fastest in Oschersleben official pre-season test

Team Honda ADAC Sachsen driver Mike Halder topped the official TCR Germany series pre-season test at Oschersleben.

“It’s finally time to start again and I’m quite satisfied with the tests overall, but there is still plenty of room for improvement,” said Hader.

The test ran from April 9-10th, with Halder lapping the German circuit in 1:30.701 seconds, beating Hyundai Team Engstler driver Luca Engstler by a mere 0.092 seconds.

Hyundai drivers occupied five of the top six positions, with Harald Proczyk of HP Racing International in third, Hyundai Team Engstler drivers Theo Coicaud and Max Hesse in fourth and fifth and Lukas Niedertscheider of HP Racing International rounding off the top six.

Yokohama tyres were used for the first time during this test in the German series, switching from Hankook for the 2019 season.

The 2019 TCR Germany series season starts on April 28th at Oschersleben.
