Max Hesse inherits pole, as Harald Proczyk is stripped of pole position

HP Racing International’s Harald Proczyk, who had set the fastest lap time in this morning’s qualifying at Oschersleben, has received a three-place grid drop after an infringement during the session.

The reigning champion was found to have been driving too fast during the red flag period in Q2, and so will now start from the second row of the grid.

Three drivers now move up, with Team Engstler Hyundai driver Max Hesse now on pole position, followed by the Honda of Mike Halder in second and his team-mate Dominik Fugel third, with Proczyk right behind.
