Brink Motorsport sign ex-KMS engineer Ronnie Bergström

Brink Motorsport has signed former long-time Kristoffersson Motorsport (KMS) engineer Ronnie Bergström for the 2019 TCR Scandinavia championship season.

“Ronnie is going to be engineer on Andreas’ (Wernersson) car but will with all of his experience help the team on many levels,” said team owner Ted Brink.

Bergström joined KMS in 1997 and has been part of the majority of the team’s STCC titles with drivers such as Fredrik Ekblom and Johan Kristoffersson.

“It is going to be really interesting to watch and learn from Ronnie at the same time as I fully can focus on being engineer on Tobias’ (Brink) car,” said Ted Brink.

Brink Motorsport has expanded to three Audi RS 3 LMS race cars for 2019 with drivers Tobias Brink, Andreas Wernersson and Hannes Morin.

“We have been clear in our goal that we are going to fight for the title this year and the season start this week is the first time when we can see how we have developed and prepared ourselves during the winter,” said Ted Brink.
