Robert Dahlgren leads Andreas Wernersson in second practice at Knutstorp

PWR Racing’s Robert Dahlgren was fastest of all, the only driver under the one-minute mark, in the second and final practice session at Knutstorp, leading the way in his Cupra TCR by two-tenths of as second ahead of Andreas Wernersson’s Brink Motorsport Audi RS 3 LMS.

FP1 pace-setted Andreas Ahlberg set the early pace, but now in drier and much sunnier conditions, it was Dahlgren who soon took over at the top of the time sheets in the PWR Racing Cupra TCR.

After his first run, Dahlgren was into the low 1:00s, improving to set a time of 59.996 on his next run just after the ten-minute mark.

Wernersson was second quickest, with Mattias Andersson third in his MA:GP Honda Civic Type R FK2 TCR, with Andreas Ahlberg making it four makes in the top four with his Micke Kågered Racing Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR.

Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky was fifth quickest, the last driver within half a second of Dahlgren, with touring car newcomer Hannes Morin sixth fastest in the second of the Brink Audis.

The sole Alfa Romeo in the field of Danish driver Louise Frost was 11th, 1.6 seconds off the pace.

Qualifying is next up and is scheduled for 16:20 CEST.
