Robert Dahlgren leads PWR Racing 1-2 in final practice at Anderstorp
Robert Dahlgren was fastest again in the second test session at the Scandinavian Raceway, leading Andreas Ahlberg’s Volkswagen and his PWR Racing Cupra team-mate Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky in dry conditions.
Micke Kågered Racing’s Andreas Ahlberg had set the early pace before Dahlgren took over at the end of the first ten minutes, with Åhlin-Kottulinsky moving up to second place, with the two PWR cars looking strong.
Åhlin-Kottulinsky then got ahead of her team-mate through the middle part of the session, before Dahlgren jumped back ahead by six-tenths of a second with just over ten minutes to go.
The two PWR’s only challenger seemed to be Ahlberg, who improved to second in his Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR with just five minutes to go, four-tenths of a second behind Dahlgren’s Cupra, splitting the two PWR Racing.
Championship leader Andreas Wernersson, who’s also carrying 20kg of success ballast this weekend on his Brink Motorsport Audi RS 3 LMS, finished fourth, with Mattias Andersson’s MA:GP Honda Civic TCR fifth.
Tobias Brink was sixth in his Audi ahead of the Experion Racing Team Volkswagen of Albin Wärnelöv. Tomas Engström’s Micke Kågered Racing Volkswagen was eighth, with Jessica Bäckman ninth in her Hyundai i30 N TCR, with Hannes Morin completing the top ten.
Qualifying is next and is scheduled for 14:40 CEST.
