Robert Dahlgren leads Saturday afternoon warm up at Skellefteå

PWR Racing driver Robert Dahlgren led the afternoon warm up session at the Skellefteå Drive Center, finishing just ahead of today’s pole-sitter Andreas Wernersson’s Brink Motorsport Audi RS 3 LMS.

Dahlgren finished the ten-minute session with a best time of 1:55.345, steadily improving, while Wernersson finished just under half a second behind, the only other driver under the 1:56 barrier.

Andreas Ahlberg, in the lone Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR this weekend, was third fastest, with Tobias Brink finishing fourth in his Audi, just ahead of Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky’s PWR Racing Cupra.

Mattias Andersson, in his re-engined Honda Civic TCR, was sixth fastest, with Peter ‘Poker’ Wallenberg’s Cupra and Hannes Morin’s Audi completing the top eight.

It was the first time all eight cars had taken to the track all weekend, after PWR Racing Cupra driver Peter ‘Poker’ Wallenberg missed Test 1 on Friday morning, and then Mattias Andersson missed the rest of the day’s running in his MA:GP Honda Civic TCR following an engine failure.

The first race, with Brink Motorsport’s Andreas Wernersson starting from pole position, starts at 14:30 CEST.
