Robert Dahlgren leads the way in Falkenberg warm up session

PWR Racing’s Robert Dahlgren has now topped every session so far this weekend at Falkenberg, after this Cupra driver topped the ten-minute warm up session this morning ahead of today’s two races.

Although the Brink Motorsport Audi RS 3 LMS of Andreas Wernersson set the early going, Dahlgren opted to pit to make a practice start early on, setting his times in the middle part of the session where he improved steadily, setting five consecutive laps in the 45.3s, the best of which was a 45.327.

Closest to Dahlgren was the Honda Civic TCR of Mattias Andersson, 0.062 seconds behind, with Andreas Ahlberg’s Micke Kågered Racing Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR third fastest.

Tobias Brink was the best of the Audis in fourth ahead of team-mate Andreas Wernersson, with Tomas Engström’s Volkswagen sixth, and Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky seventh fastest in her PWR Racing Cupra TCR.

The Audi of Hannes Morin, the Honda of Jonas Lynge and the Volkswagen of Albin Wärnelöv completed the top ten.

The first race of the day, with Dahlgren starting on pole position, is scheduled for 13:00 CEST.
