Audi drop 40kg for Jyllandsringen

The Audi RS 3 LMSs of title contenders Brink Motorsport will drop 40kg for the TCR Scandinavia championship races at Jyllandsringen this weekend, while the Cupra TCRs of main title rivals PWR Racing will remain at the maximum compensation weight of 60kg.

PWR Racing driver Robert Dahlgren heads the championship, but is only 15 and 18 points respectively ahead of Brink Motorsport drivers Tobias Brink and Andreas Wernersson.

Brink will also carry an extra 10kg of success ballast, based on the result at the previous round at Gelleråsen Arena, with MA:GP Honda driver Mattias Andersson on 20kg, and Kågered Racing’s Andreas Ahlberg carrying 15kg in his Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR.

The Cupra TCR will be joined at the top of the compensation weight list by the new Danish entries using the Honda Civic Type R FK8 TCR (Massive Motorsport) and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce TCR (Insight Racing), carrying maximum compensation weight due to being new entries to the championship.

The Hyundai of Team Hyundai Denmark will on the other hand carry no compensation weight at all as Target Competition took part in the races at Anderstorp with a Hyundai earlier this season.

The weights for the other cars remain unchanged compared to the previous round.
