Audi and Honda drop most weight for Hockenheim

The Audis and Hondas will drop the most weight for the penultimate TCR Germany championship round at Hockenheim next weekend, losing 30kg of compensation weight following the performance in the previous round at the Nürburgring.

The Cupras and Volkswagens will also drop weight, shedding 20kg of compensation weight.

The Hyundai i30 N TCRs will remain on maximum compensation weight for Hockenheim, running at 60kg following the strong performance of Engstler Motorsport drivers Thierry Neuville and Max Hesse at the Nürburgring.

Audi RS 3 LMS driver Antti Buri of LMS Racing heads the championship standings ahead of Hockenheim, 22 and 38 points respectively ahead of the Hyundai i30 N TCR duo of Hesse and Harald Proczyk. The best placed Honda Civic Type R FK8 TCR driver is Mike Halder in fourth position on 274 points.

All other cars remain at the same weight as in the previous round.
