Audi, Honda and Volkswagen drop weight for season finale

The cars of Audi, Honda and Volkswagen will drop compensation weight for the TCR Scandinavia championship season finale at Mantorp Park this weekend.

The Audi RS 3 LMSs of Brink Motorsport will drop 10kg of compensation weight, something that will play a key role in their title fight with PWR Racing, as the Cupra TCRs will be alone on the full 60kg of compensation weight.

The Honda Civic Type-R FK2 TCR of Mattias Andersson will drop 20kg ahead of his home race and the Volkswagen Golf GTI TCRs of Kågered Racing and Experion Racing will drop 10kg.

Success ballast will be added on top of the compensation weight, based on the results in the previous round at Jyllandsringen. Championship leader Robert Dahlgren will carry 20kg, while title challengers Tobias Brink and Andreas Ahlberg will carry 15kg and 10kg respectively.

Dahlgren heads the standings on 221 points, with Brink second on 200 points, Ahlberg third on 190 points and Brink Motorsport driver Andreas Wernersson fourth on 183 points.

A total of 55 points are available from the season finale weekend.
