Mattias Andersson tops frozen morning warm up at Mantorp Park

Honda driver Mattias Andersson was quickest of all at the Mantorp Park circuit in the ten-minute morning warm up, leading the way in icy conditions after temperatures dropped to sub-zero overnight.

The MA:GP driver produced a best lap of 1:19.882, just six-tenths a second away from yesterday’s pole position time in his Honda Civic TCR, finishing the session just over a tenth of a second clear of PWR Racing’s Robert Dahlgren.

Brink Motorsport Audi driver Andreas Wernersson was third fastest, putting three makes in the top three, with Daniel Haglöf fourth fastest in his Cupra.

Tomas Engström was the best of the Volkswagens in fifth for Kågered Racing, ahead of Brink junior driver Hannes Morin, and PWR Racing’s Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky.

Tobias Brink’s Audi, Andreas Ahlberg’s Volkswagen and Kristian Saetheren’s Alfa Romeo completed the top ten.

The first race of the day is scheduled for 12:55 CEST.
