Brink Motorsport eying switch from Audi for 2020 season

Brink Motorsport will field three cars for the 2020 STCC TCR Scandinavia season and is eyeing a potential switch from their current Audis.

“We are looking at a number of different brands for the 2020 season,” said driver and team co-owner Tobias Brink to TouringCarTimes.

The team claimed the 2019 TCR Scandinavia teams’ title after a tough fight with PWR Racing and their ambitions for the coming season is to claim further titles.

“We are well on our way to secure a strong programme for the 2020 STCC where we no doubt are aiming to claim at least two titles,” said Brink.

“We are not here to just take part in the championship, we are here to win.”

The team ran three Audi RS 3 LMSs during the 2019 season for drivers Tobias Brink, Andreas Wernersson and Hannes Morin. The team is yet to confirm which manufacturer or drivers it will field in 2020.

“We are going to be able to reveal the details around our programme at the start of the new year, both in terms of cars and drivers. All of our work currently is of course focussed on securing the conditions needed to fight for the titles,” said Brink.
