Kevin Engman replaces Magnus Gustavsen for Knutstorp season finale

Kevin Engman is going to replace Magnus Gustavsen at Brovallen Design for the STCC TCR Scandinavia season finale at Knutstorp this weekend.

“I’ve longed for this day ever since I began racing,” said Engman.

The 30-year-old has claimed the bronze medal of the Swedish Junior Touring Car Championship three times, most recently in 2012 before he took a hiatus from racing.

“I am humble ahead of my task, but the goal it to score points and to learn. My goal is firmly set on being on the 2021 STCC grid,” said Engman.

Engman is going to drive the Audi RS 3 LMS race car of the team while Gustavsen will be at the race as coach to him.

“It’s great that Kevin can race for us in the finale, he is a driver that we have worked with before in the JTCC and that we strongly believe in,” said Tobias Johansson, team owner of Brovallen Design.

“Magnus is unfortunately forced to stand down for Knutstorp due to the ongoing pandemic and the economic consequences it brings. But we are hoping to get something in place for next year with him.”
