Robert Dahlgren: “It’s just happy days”

Robert Dahlgren put in a strong performance in the last STCC TCR Scandinavia qualifying of 2020 at Knutstorp, claiming pole position for the first two races of the weekend.

“The team gave me a great car, it’s just happy days,” said Dahlgren.

The reigning champion beat Rob Huff by 0.052 seconds in the first session and Tobias Brink by 0.073 seconds in the second session.

“I am super pleased, this is the first part of our goal for the weekend, to claim pole,” said Dahlgren.

“It was really tight, but we expected that and tomorrow is going to be seriously exciting.”

Dahlgren is running on 0kg of compensation weight while Huff is running on 10kg and Brink 60kg.

The Cupra León Competición driver is 16 points behind Brink in the standings, sharing second place with Huff.
