Laura Kraihamer gets Hyundai VIP seat for Lausitzring

Laura Kraihamer is going to drive the VIP car of Hyundai Team Engstler in the TCR Germany championship races at the Lausitzring this weekend.

“I’m really looking forward to my debut in TCR Germany. When the request came, I accepted immediately,” said Kraihamer.

The 29-year-old has mainly raced GT cars previously, finishing third in the SP3T class of the 2020 Nürburgring 24 hour race.

“The Hyundai i30 N TCR is new to me and I haven’t driven the track variant for a long time either,” said Kraihamer.

“The Hyundai Team Engstler team has an incredible amount of experience and will be at my side with help and advice. I always enjoy watching the TCR races. The guys there can all drive and things gets down to business. My goal is to improve myself over the weekend and have fun.”
