STCC unveil expanded 2021 calendar

The STCC TCR Scandinavia organisation has unveiled an expanded calendar for the 2021 season, going from four to six race weekends. The calendar features one new circuit in the form of Ljungbyhed Park.

“We have worked hard since the season finale to secure a calendar and we are happy to present a strong setup for 2021,” said Micke Bern, managing director of STCC.

The season will start at Knutstorp at the beginning of May, followed by the airfield circuit Ljungbyhed Park three weeks later, a circuit that never before has been featured on the STCC calendar.

“We’ve had a really good cooperation with the circuits that we’ve driven on this year and we are delighted to extend our cooperation with them,” said Bern.

“We are glad to welcome Anderstorp back and the introduction of Ljungbyhed is a given for us, especially as we have our base there along with the the support classes V8 Thunder Cars and Radical Cup Scandinavia.”

Skellefteå Drive Center Arena will host the third round in June, followed by Gelleråsen Arena in August.

Anderstorp Raceway returns to the calendar for the penultimate round while Mantorp Park will host the season finale at the beginning of October.
