Yokohama extends STCC deal until 2022

The STCC TCR Scandinavia and Yokohama have extended its partnership up until at least 2022.

“We are happy to continue our successful cooperation with Yokohama that brings a lot of positive effects to everyone involved in the championship,” said Micke Bern, managing director of STCC.

“The majority of TCR championships around the world race with Yokohama, making it easy for those who want to combine their racing in Sweden with international races.”

Yokohama became official tyre supplier to the STCC in 2009 and has been with the championship for the majority of seasons since then.

“The STCC is a perfect platform for us to market our products and it is important for us to be part of the most prestigious racing championship in Scandinavia,” said Göran Bengtsson, managing director of Yokohama Sweden.
