STCC issues revised calendar with new season opener venue

The STCC TCR Scandinavia organisation has issued a revised 2021 season calendar, with Ljungbyhed Park announced for the season opener venue.

The start of the season has been delayed by a month, while the season finale has been moved from Mantorp Park to Ring Knutstorp on October 8-9.

“This is the best solution for everyone involved considering the ongoing pandemic, providing us with an intense programme from June to October,” said Micke Bern, managing director of STCC.

“The move has been made to create the best possible conditions to have a season finale open for spectators.”

Ljungbyhed Park has never before hosted an STCC race weekend and features a 2100 meter circuit on a disused military airfield.
