Hugo Nerman returns to the STCC with Kågered Racing

Hugo Nerman is back in the STCC TCR Scandinavia for 2021 to drive a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR for Kågered Racing.

“To join Kågered Racing as a new driver feels rewarding and incredibly stimulating,” said Nerman.

“Everything has felt right from our first meeting and Micke Kågered together with his team has a lot of motorsport experience which will enable me to perform on top each race weekend.”

The 21-year-old last raced in the STCC for Kristoffersson Motorsport in 2018, finishing ninth overall with two fifth place finishes as his best result.

Last year saw Nerman making one guest appearance in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup.

“Hugo has a lot of potential and we look forward to work together towards strong results in the STCC.”

Nerman is the so far fifth confirmed driver for the 2021 STCC season alongside the PWR Racing duo of Robert Dahlgren and Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky, Lynk & Co driver Mattias Andersson and championship newcomer Rasmus Hedberg.
