Robert Dahlgren continues on top in twice red-flagged Ljungbyhed test

Robert Dahlgren continued his strong form in the STCC TCR Scandinavia pre-season testing at Ljungbyhed, lapping the morning session in 57.395, beating reigning champion Rob Huff by 0.292 seconds.

The session was stopped twice, the first incident happening 45 minutes into the session when Cupra driver Rasmus Hedberg hit the wall at Turn 1. Hedberg was unhurt while the suspension of his Cupra TCR received a lot of damage.

The second stoppage came as Experion Racing driver Albin Wärnelöv hit a tyre stack with his Hyundai i30 N TCR towards the end of the session, being towed back into the pits.

STCC returnee Hugo Nerman impressed with the third fastest time for Kågered Racing, six tenths from PWR Racing driver Dahlgren in P1.

Lestrup Racing Team driver Oliver Söderström was fourth fastest ahead of Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky, 0.754 and 0.796 seconds behind respectively.

Volkswagen driver Andreas Ahlberg claimed position six ahead of Brink Motorsport driver Hannes Morin and MA:GP driver Mattias Andersson.

The final session of the pre-season test will start at 12:40 CEST.
