Kevin Engman replaces Hannes Morin at Brink Motorsport

Kevin Engman is going to take over the second Audi RS 3 LMS of Brink Motorsport alongside Tobias Brink, replacing Hannes Morin for the race weekend at Gelleråsen Arena on August 21-22.

“It feels great to get the opportunity to race at Gelleråsen for Brink Motorsport, a team that has established itself at the very top of the STCC,” said Engman.

“My goal for the future is no doubt to drive a full STCC season in 2022.”

The 31-year-old made his STCC debut for Brovallen Design in last year’s season finale, finishing in the points in all three races with seventh as his best finish.

“We are glad to welcome Kevin to the team and we are looking forward to give him the chance to see how far we can reach together,” said Ted Brink, team manager of Brink Motorsport.

“Kevin has shown a lot of potential during his career and impressed during his one-off race weekend last year.”

The team has not confirmed details surrounding its second car for the races beyond Gelleråsen, whether Engman or Morin, who drove the first two race weekends for the team, will continue.
