Robert Dahlgren tops day one of Gelleråsen summer test

Robert Dahlgren headed a PWR Racing 1-2 with team-mate Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky in the STCC TCR Scandinavia summer test at Gelleråsen Arena.

The Cupra driver lapped the Swedish circuit in 1:06.591 and was 0.115 seconds faster than his team-mate.

Lestrup Racing Team driver Oliver Söderström was third fastest, close to half a second from the top time, with rival Volkswagen driver Hugo Nerman of Kågered Racing just 0.007 seconds behind in fourth.

Lynk & Co 03 TCR driver Mattias Andersson claimed position five, 0.913 seconds from Dahlgren, with Kevin Engman, who replaces Hannes Morin at Brink Motorsport, in sixth position.

Andreas Ahlberg (Kågered Racing) and Mikael Karlsson (Lestrup Racing Team) rounded off the top eight, while title contender Tobias Brink could only manage ninth position, 1.575 seconds from P1.

The test continues tomorrow, starting at 09:00 CEST.
