Oliver Söderström tops first Gelleråsen test as Robert Dahlgren struggles

Oliver Söderström topped the first STCC TCR Scandinavia test of the Gelleråsen Arena weekend while points leader Robert Dahlgren was unable to set a competitive lap time due to a technical issue.

Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky topped the times initially but fell to second place, 0.136 seconds behind the Lestrup Racing Team driver.

Lynk & Co 03 TCR driver Mattias Andersson, who is placed third overall, was third fastest, just 0.129 seconds behind Åhlin-Kottulinsky.

Hugo Nerman of Kågered Racing was fourth fastest ahead of the impressive Brink Motorsport newcomer Kevin Engman in fifth, four and five tenths of a second behind respectively.

Local driver Mikael Karlsson claimed the sixth fastest time ahead of Andreas Ahlberg, while Tobias Brink, who is placed second overall, could only manage eighth.

PWR Racing driver Dahlgren was 13th and last as he was forced to sit out the majority of the session due to a suspension issue.

The second test of the day starts at 13:35 CEST.
