Robert Dahlgren claims final two STCC pole positions of 2021

Robert Dahlgren crowned his impressive run of pole positions in the 2021 STCC TCR Scandinavia season by claiming the final two in the Knutstorp season finale.

The PWR Racing driver, who was crowned champion last weekend at Mantorp Park, claimed pole for the first race by close to four tenths of a second ahead of team-mate Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky in Q1.

Tobias Brink, who is fighting Åhlin-Kottulinsky for second place overall, was third fastest, just two thousands of a second slower.

Lestrup Racing Team driver Oliver Söderström claimed position four ahead of MA:GP driver Mattias Andersson and Volkswagen driver Mikael Karlsson.

The Q2 session saw Dahlgren claiming pole by 0.360 seconds over Audi driver Brink who swapped positions with Åhlin-Kottulinsky.

Söderström and Andersson was again fourth and fifth, with STCC returnee Magnus Gustavsen improving to sixth.

The first race of the Knutstorp weekend starts at 10:35 CEST tomorrow.
