Jean-Karl Vernay excluded after using more power than allowed

Hyundai Motorsport N driver Jean-Karl Vernay has been excluded from the Pool Fast quarter final results because of a technical infringement.

The scrutineers found that the Frenchman had used a power level in his Hyundai Veloster N ETCR higher than the allowed during the first quarter final, an infringement in breach of article 42.10 of the ETCR sporting regulations.

The stewards then decided to exclude Vernay from the results, with Cupra EKS driver Tom Blomqvist inheriting the victory.
