Robert Dahlgren dominates first wet Gelleråsen practice

Robert Dahlgren was on his own during the wet morning STCC TCR Scandinavia practice session at Gelleråsen Arena, heading Lestrup Racing Team driver Oliver Söderström by half a second.

Söderström’s team-mate Andreas Bäckman was third fastest, over a second behind the top time.

Norwegian independent driver Marius Solberg Hansen continues to show strong form with the fourth fastest time of the session, 1.4 seconds from Dahlgren.

Fellow independent Volkswagen driver Dennis Strandberg impressed in the wet conditions as well with the fifth fastest time, 1.7 seconds from P1.

Lynk & Co driver Mattias Andersson was sixth while PWR Racing driver Axel Bengtsson and Brink Motorsport’s Hugo Nerman rounded off the top eight.

Heavy rain showers are expected to continue throughout the day at Gelleråsen Arena, with the second practice session scheduled for 14:00 CEST.
