Robert Dahlgren leads opening test at Mantorp Park finale

Championship leader Robert Dahlgren set the pace in the opening test ahead of the STCC TCR Scandinavia title showdown at Mantorp Park.

Dahlgren led the charts on a 1:19.334 as running got underway in cool and misty conditions on Friday morning, the Cupra driver heading the Audis of Tobias Brink and main title rival Andreas Bäckman.

Dahlgren’s PWR Racing team-mate Axel Bengtsson was fourth, some six tenths down on his more experienced colleague, with Bäckman’s Lestrup Racing Team stablemate Oliver Söderström rounding out the top five.

The second test is scheduled for 11.55 CEST.
