Mercedes confirms 2014 DTM team line-up

Mercedes has revealed their team line-up for the 2014 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters during a ceremony at the Mercedes plant in Untertürkheim, Germany.
“Once again, we have put together a strong squad, with an excellent mix of experience and youth,” said Toto Wolff, Head of Mercedes Motorsport.

DTM returnee Paul Di Resta is going to drive together with Christian Vietoris at Original-Teile/AMG Mercedes (HWA) while Gary Paffett will drive together with Robert Wickens at EURONICS/GRIP Mercedes AMG (HWA).

DTM newcomers Daniel Juncadella and Vitaly Petrov will drive for Petronas /AMG Mercedes (Mücke) while Pascal Wehrlein will drive alone under the Gooix Mercedes AMG (HWA) banner.

”In Gary Paffett and Paul di Resta, we have two former DTM champions. Also taking the wheel of our DTM Mercedes AMG C-Coupés will be drivers who have already made a name for themselves in DTM and Formula 1, plus our Mercedes Juniors. I am convinced that our drivers will be giving colleagues and fans alike plenty to shout about this year,” Wolff.
