Heikki Kovalainen tests for BMW at Lausitzring

Former F1 driver Heikki Kovalainen is going to complete a DTM test for BMW at Lausitzring in Germany this week.

BMW is going to complete four days of testing starting today and the Finn is going to be behind the wheel of a BMW M4 DTM during one of the days.

Kovalainen last raced a full season of Formula 1 in 2012 for Caterham and completed just two races for Lotus last year.

BMW states that the purpose of the test is to focus on the setup of the car ahead of the DTM race at Lausitzring on September 14th and that Kovalainen is going to ”…use the opportunity at the Lausitzring to gain an impression of the BMW M4 DTM.”
