2015 DTM calendar revealed with double races

The 2015 DTM calendar has been released and features the introduction of two races per weekend.
“We know that many DTM enthusiasts were keen on two races per weekend as every additional race minute promises additional excitement and action. Now we responded to this desire and we are going to fix the details in the coming weeks,” said ITR Chairman Hans Werner Aufrecht.

One race will be held on Saturday of the race weekend and the second one on Sunday, while no details have been released yet on race length, pitstops, etc.

The calendar features nine race weekends, meaning 18 race heats, and starts and ends traditionally at Hockenheim.

Hungary has been removed after only one year on the calendar. Zandvoort, Red Bull Ring and Moscow Raceway remain on the calendar as the sole races outside of Germany.
