Gary Paffett and Adrien Tambay excluded from the qualifying session
Penalties continue to arrive for drivers after the qualifying session for race 2 of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters in Hockenheim today.
Mercedes’ ART Grand Prix driver Gary Paffett and Audi Sport Team Abt’s Adrien Tambay have been excluded from the results of the qualifying session, as they contravened Article 46.2a of the Sporting Regulations, by not having the DRS mechanically blocked during the post qualifying parc fermé.
Paffett had qualified in eighth position of the grid, whilst Tambay did so in 11th place. Both drivers are allowed to start the race at the back of the grid.
