Further penalties for Timo Glock and Christian Vietoris

Two further penalties were handed out to Timo Glock and Christian Vietoris after the action finished on Saturday at the Norisring.

BMW Team RMG’s Glock was given a five second time penalty for using his DRS too often in the race, dropping him from 14th to 21st in the classification.

Mercedes Team Mücke’s Vietoris was handed a fine of 3,000 Euros for comments made on TV about Audi Team Abt Sportsline driver Mattias Ekström following their clash in the race. The stewards ruled Vietoris had publicly insulted another competitor.
