Zytek MG on hold
Autosport reports that all work on the MG DTM project has stopped. Zytek Engineering were currently working on getting a couple of MG ZT 260 ready for the DTM, but since MG went bankrupt things have stopped.
“It is on hold until we get an indication that MG will continue or find an alternative manufacturer to workt with. There is no point finishing the car until we can move forward,” Zytek chassis boss Trevor Foster said. “We were encouraged by the results we were seeing. This is a big dissapointment.”
With the race car so far in to production it is no chance that Zytek could rebuild the prototypes to any other manufacturer during this season.
