No Avignon race

The FFSA (French motorsport body) has confirmed that the French Avignon DTM street race has been cancelled. Although there is still no confirmation of that from ITR, the DTM organising body.

“We have a contract with Avignon but we are preparing a solution should they not want to hold a race. If a city doesn´t want to hold the race there is nothing we can do,” a DTM source told Autosport.

The most likely circuit to take over this round is reported to be Ledenon in France. An official decision is expected soon.
