Paffett leaves DTM for F1

Current DTM champion Gary Paffett will not be in DTM 2006. McLaren recently confirmed him as test driver for their F1-team. Paffett was awared McLaren Autosport Young Driver Of the Year in 1999.

He did one test F1 test in 2000 but then went to touring cars for 2004 and 2005. The 2006 Formula One season starts as usual in March.
