Mercedes testing at Barcelona
This Tuesday, Mercedes-Benz started the first DTM test of the 2006 season. At the ‘Circuit de Catalunya’, located close to Spain’s metropolis Barcelona, Mika Häkkinen and Bruno Spengler conducted the testing duties.
At the wheel of two 2005-spec AMG-Mercedes C-Classes, the Mercedes-Benz works drivers completed 127 laps on the 4.627-kilometre Grand Prix circuit, representing a total mileage of 587.63 kilometres. While rain and fog had been dominating during the night, the conditions clearly improved at daytime, with the temperatures rising to a maximum of 15° C, in the afternoon.
